044: Batman v Superman

This week we review the new "Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice" film, analyzing it as a story and as a think-piece. We also end up talking about all sorts of other movies, TV shows, and the definition of sociopathy, so climb aboard! It should be fun.

We do a lot of comparing of the film to the series Death Note, which shares a lot of the same tonal and thematic elements. If you're interested, check out Caleb's blog post on the show here, and maybe give it a watch. We both highly recommend it.

043: Icewind Dale

On this delayed episode, we talk about the awesome game we just finished playing and how good of a story it had. We also talk about accountability some more and go further into the "iron sharpens iron" mentality. If you want to watch us play Icewind Dale, check out this Twitch channel.

042: Biblical Friendship

Hannah's back! And we talk about the importance of Biblical friendship; not only so that you can have accountability to someone, but also for the simple fact that the community of the body of Christ is supposed to reflect the community that God has with the three persons of the Trinity. We also do a Mix 'n Match and go on plenty of tangents, so enjoy!

041: Writing Tips

This week we attempt to answer a listener question and instead end up going a little off-topic and answering tangential things that may or may not help our listener. Sorry, Carly. We'll answer your question in detail soon. We also reference Caleb's favorite podcast, Writing Excuses, which we absolutely recommend for all the advice you could ever want on brainstorming, writing, editing/revising, and publishing speculative fiction. Seriously, go check out this podcast.
